SUBJ: ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 2022 COAST GUARD EXCHANGE SYSTEM (CGX) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WINNERS

1. The Coast Guard Exchange Scholarship Program awards two scholarships per year and the process for submitting packets as well as the scholarship program was announced via reference (A).
2. I am pleased to announce the winners of the annual Coast Guard Exchange System (CGX) Scholarship Program. These scholarships are awarded in accordance with reference (b) based upon academic achievements, accomplishments, interests, and demonstrated leadership in both school and volunteer activities.
3. Two individuals were selected to receive a 2,000-dollar scholarship:
a. Amalia R. Johnson, daughter of Eric Johnson, USCG Civilian, Director of Operational Logistics.
b. Eleanor Pickrell, daughter of Kristian B. Pickrell, USCG Retired CDR.
