Coast Guard Gaming will compete in the 2026 Armed Forces Sports (AFS)
Esports Competition, held in Philadelphia, PA, from 22–26 April 2026.
Community Services Command (CSC) Morale, Well-Being, and Recreation (MWR),
in partnership with the Accessions Service Center (ASC), will support this
initiative as the team competes against the other Armed Forces.

1. Coast Guard Gaming will compete in the 2026 Armed Forces Sports (AFS)
Esports Competition, held in Philadelphia, PA, from 22–26 April 2026.
Community Services Command (CSC) Morale, Well-Being, and Recreation (MWR),
in partnership with the Accessions Service Center (ASC), will support this
initiative as the team competes against the other Armed Forces.
2. Participation in the Armed Forces Sports (AFS) competition, as well as
other tournaments and qualifying events, is open to all active-duty members
and reservists serving on active-duty orders. Members interested in applying
are encouraged to join the Coast Guard Gaming (CGG) Discord to learn more
about current and future opportunities, including online qualifiers. The CGG
Discord can be accessed from personal devices using the link below.
Additional tournaments, qualifiers, and outreach events will be advertised
on the Coast Guard Gaming SharePoint page. Please note that dates and

3. Per reference (A), commands are encouraged to support participation in
the Armed Forces Sports Program. Competing on an Armed Forces team brings
credit to both the Coast Guard and the United States military while promoting
readiness, retention, and resilience across the service.
4. Command-endorsed applications must be submitted to the Coast Guard Sports
Office no later than 9 March to allow sufficient time for player invitations
and travel arrangements. Please forward the command-endorsed application,
along with any command concerns, to CGSports@uscgmwr.org. Applications and
additional information regarding the Armed Forces Sports Program can be
