1. In accordance with reference (a), I am pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 MWR Program of the Year Award for outstanding achievement in the delivery of MWR programs and services.
2. Here are the winners in each category:

3. Award recognition will be forwarded to each command for presentation at an appropriate award ceremony. One thousand dollars will be awarded to each of the first-place winners in each category, 750 dollars will be awarded to each of the second-place winners in each category, and 500 dollars will be awarded to each of the third place winners in each category. Further guidance will be provided to these units when funds are transferred.
4. Congratulations to all award winners for taking the time to participate in the MWR Program of the Year Award and recognize the contributions MWR makes to support the readiness, retention, and resiliency of the Coast Guard family.
5. I would like to thank all the commands that took the time to submit nominations for the MWR Program of the Year Award. The following units, while not coming in 1st 3rd, will receive $400 for their submissions. Two categories did not have enough nominations for 2nd or 3rd place, so the available award funding will be evenly distributed to those who applied.
