USCG golfers CWO2 Adam Dodson (Cyber Command), PO2 Nicholas Marshall (Sector Columbia River), and PO2 Zachary Rudy (Marine Safety Unit Houma) qualified for 3 of the 6 Navy roster positions.

Fort Belvoir will host the annual Armed Forces Golf Championship featuring teams from Army, Marine Corps, Navy (including Coast Guard) and Air Force (including Space Force), held at the Fort Belvoir Golf Course at Fort Belvoir, Virginia from 11-14 September 2022. This marks the first Armed Forces Golf Championship since COVID-19 cancelled the 2020 and 2021 tournaments. The 2022 Armed Forces Golf Championship will feature seventy-two (72) hole medal play over four days. [armedforcessports.defense.gov]

The Navy received more than 40 golf applications, with 20 selected for the qualifiers. USCG applicants CWO2 Adam Dodson (Cyber Command), PO2 Nicholas Marshall (Sector Columbia River), and PO2 Zachary Rudy (Marine Safety Unit Houma) qualified for 3 of the 6 Navy roster positions on the men's team. These athletes represented the Coast Guard in Armed Forces Sports and helped the Navy secure third place in the 2022 AFS Championship.
